TRENTON —
Tom James of Trenton, who grew up on a farm west of McLeansboro, submitted the accompanying photo handed down to him by family.
He believes it depicts a scene in Hamilton County but he and other family members know nothing else about it, he said.
Anyone with information about the photo that they are willing to share may contact him via e-mail at tjames@ezeeweb.com.
Also, if you have an old photo or other memories of Hamilton County that you’d like to share with Times-Leader readers, keep in mind that the newspaper’s annual Focus edition — “Remembering the Past ... Looking to the Future” — will be published on March 29. Photos and stories may be submitted to the Times-Leader office at 200 S. Washington St. or via e-mail to yournews@mcleansborotimesleader.com.
