McLEANSBORO —
Hamilton County High School’s volleyball team went 10-1 at the Crab Orchard Jamboree on June 17 and 18, coach Jason Hall reported.
At the 12-team tournament, the Lady Foxes beat Carrier Mills, 21-1, 21-10; Crab Orchard, 21-14, 16-21, 15-10; Gallatin County, 21-13, 20-22, 15-12; Zeigler-Royalton, 21-15, 21-16; Massac County, 21-11, 21-14; Norris City-Omaha-Enfield, 21-6, 21-12; Vienna, 21-13, 21-10; Eldorado, 21-6, 21-18; Goreville, 21-16, 21-12; and Johnston City, 21-13, 21-8.
Hamilton County’s lone loss was to Du Quoin, 19-21, 11-21.
Lady Fox team members participating included Emma Moreton, Alyssa Winemiller, Krystal Knight, Sarah Scott, Jacqueline McGill, Whitney Craddock, Emily Miller, Kelsey Bowman, Mariah Barr, Ali Zachman and Kayla Kreher.
The volleyball squad will travel to Fairfield on July 13 to play in another 12-team tournament, Hall said.
