Letter: Our hospital ER’s service was excellent

To the editor:

I am writing this letter to tell of the wonderful care that I received at the Hamilton Memorial Hospital emergency room.

Due to health reasons, I had to visit the ER about a month ago. From the moment I got there to the moment I left, I received great care.

The nurse who took care of me, Karen Shorb, was excellent. She was very kind and caring and came every few minutes to make sure I was comfortable.

The new, renovated ER is great! You now have the privacy of your own separate pod instead of being in one shared room. It makes the time you’re in there a lot more bearable.

All of the employees that helped me were equally great. They were very kind and courteous.

My whole experience in the new emergency department was excellent.

In conclusion, I think everyone in this town should remember just how blessed and lucky we are to have a hospital in our town. We should also remember just how much time and effort was put into making our hospital even better.
