Barbara J. Myers, 58, of Caseyville and formerly of McLeansboro, passed away at 2:14 p.m. Friday, Feb. 19, 2010, at Anderson Hospital, Maryville.
Mrs. Myers was director of resident services and employed at Masonic Home of Missouri.
She was born Feb. 14, 1952, in Mount Carmel, a daughter of Kenneth and Catherine (Carrico) Hardesty.
Her funeral was Monday at Harre Funeral Home, McLeansboro, with the Rev. Robert Sefried officiated. Burial was at I.O.O.F. Cemetery, McLeansboro.
Survivors in-clude one son, Kenneth M. Stannart of Caseyville; one daughter, Elizabeth Myers of Caseyville; four grandchildren, Brianna, Kassidy and Karlee Stannart and Zane Beland; and two sisters, Rita Steele and husband Benny of McLeansboro and Clarice White and husband Vic of Las Vegas, Nev.
Mrs. Myers loved spending time with her grandchildren and shopping.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Norberta Suffridge.
Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro is in charge of all arrangements.
