Remember When? Dale championship team
DALE — Dale Grade School’s basketball team completed a successful season by capturing the Hamilton County championship in 1953.
For the season, the team was 26-3, averaged 46 points per game, won the Midget Conference and took second place in the holiday tournament at Enfield.
Leon Hall led the scoring with 369 points and Donald Gossage had 217; both were named to the all-tournament team.
